Active Adult Living meets the demand of those that are 55+ seeking attractive alternatives to traditional senior housing options. We do not provide or require food plans, transportation or health assistance. We are a community for Active Adults seeking low maintenance, controlled access homes and the freedom to enjoy their active retirement years at their own pace within a gated, resort-style community.
We are an Equal Housing Opportunity Provider operating in accordance with the Federal Fair Housing Act. One person per household must be 55 years of age or older.
Ivy Point Klein screens all applicants through a background and consumer credit check. Applicants must verify they make two and a half times the monthly rent in income or have proof of assets for rent payments. Please see one of our leasing professionals for details.
Rent is due on the first of every month, including Saturdays and Sundays. If rent is not received by the third of every month, late charges will start the morning of the fourth day. Residents are permitted to pay rent via check, credit card, cashier’s check / money order, or online. No cash will be accepted.
All residences come with a washer and dryer but are otherwise unfurnished, and it will be up to the resident’s discretion to furnish as he / she sees fit.
Residents are allowed up to two (2) pets with a maximum weight of 65 pounds per pet. Residents with pets are required to pay a $250 deposit at move in. $150 of this will be listed as a refundable pet deposit pending any damage to the residence. The remaining $100 is non-refundable. Residents with pets will also be required to pay $10 per month for pet rent. Ivy Point Klein reserves the right to implement breed restrictions. Ivy Point Klein adheres to the Houston Apartment Association Lease allowing guests to stay for up to seven (7) consecutive days, unless prior approval is given by management.
TV, Internet & Phone: Ivy Point Klein has an exclusive contract with AT&T. Electricity: It is up to the resident’s discretion on which provider to use. Water & Sewage: Residents will be billed monthly by Ivy Point Klein. Trash: We have trash chutes on each floor for residents to access 24/7. Pest Control: Offered and managed by Ivy Point Klein.
Emergency maintenance calls will be handled by an answering service to be dispatched as needed. Routine maintenance will be attended to during business hours.
Ivy Point Klein is a fully gated, controlled access community in which key fobs or access codes will be required for entry. Each residence is prewired for alarms that residents can activate and manage, if they choose.
